STUDIES IN CONTEMPORARY WRITING

An advanced seminar designed for student enrolled in the M.A. in English in the Field of Creative Writing. The focus of the course will vary, but may include such topics as a special writing workshop, a study of fiction and poetry, or an investigation into contemporary aspects of writing, publishing, and reviewing.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS
Components and schedule of evaluation will vary from year to year, in accordance with the aims of the course.
Texts will vary from year to year.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is only open to second year students in the M.A. in English in the Field of Creative Writing.

WORKSHOP IN CREATIVE WRITING
J. PARKER  &  R. SULLIVAN

This course will focus on writing in the genres of fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction. On a regular basis, students will submit their creative work for discussion and feedback from the instructor and fellow participants. The workshop will include practical sessions on publishing in Canada.
NOTE: This course is restricted to students enrolled in the MA in English in the Field of Creative Writing program.
