These seminars are designed so as to equip students with a technical and conceptual vocabulary that they will be able to put to work in other settings and on other topics. Each carries one of the three possible subtitles for the courses in this suite: "Studies in Poetics," "Studies in Narrative," or "Studies in Historical Analysis."
