The Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations together with the Department of Linguistics and the Arabic Linguistics Society are delighted to announce that the 33rd Annual Symposium on Arabic Linguistics will be held at The University of Toronto-Downtown Campus, April 5-7, 2019.
Papers are invited on topics that deal with theoretical and applied issues in Arabic Linguistics. Research in the following areas of Arabic linguistics is encouraged: linguistic analysis (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics), sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, discourse analysis, historical linguistics, corpus linguistics, and computational linguistics.
