Research Roundtable

The Staff-Student Relations Committee would like to invite all members of the department to attend this year's edition of the Research Roundtable, to be held on Monday afternoon.

This year's event will feature presentations from Assistant Professors Kara Gaston, Misha Teramura, and Katherine Williams, as well as from graduate students Stefan Krecsy, Iona Lister, and Dustin Meyer. The annual research roundtable offers a rare and exciting opportunity to learn more about our colleagues’ most recent research while sharing information across genre and period boundaries.

Panel 1: 2.45pm Misha Teramura: "William Percy’s Logical Song: The Unexplored Corners of Early Modern Manuscript Drama.”with Iona Lister discussing Anglo-Norman fabliaux and Dustin Meyer speaking on the relationship between Lily's Grammar and Shakespeare

Panel 2: 4.15pm Kara Gaston: “Form and Number in Chaucer's House of Fame."Katherine Williams: “‘Out of Form’: The Passionate Madman and Early Modern Disability”with Stefan Krecsy on literature and public health

with refreshments following both panels to further the convivial conversation
