Mini-Seminar with Professor Sue Vice of Sheffield University, U.K.


We are pleased to invite Graduate Students to a mini-seminar with Professor Sue Vice. Professor Vice is a professor of literature at Sheffield University. Her work focuses on representations of the Holocaust in literature and film, children's representations of the Holocaust, and on the representation of memory and memory loss more generally.

The mini-seminar will take place on February 6, 2020 from 12PM to 2PM in the Religion Department's meeting room (JHB318) on the third floor of the Jackman Humanities Building (170 St. George St.).

Professor Vice is going to be talking about her recent work on Lanzmann's Shoah. She will give a short presentation, show some relevant clips from the film, and then open it up for discussion.

Also important: lunch will be provided!
