GOOD NEWS Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards in English
20 June 2012

Dear Faculty and Graduate Students,

I am writing to announce this year’s recipients of the 2012 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award in English. They are, in alphabetical order:

  • Andrea Charise, for her contribution to Professor Elizabeth Harvey’s section of ENG220Y: Shakespeare;
  • Erin Piotrowski, for her role in Professor Nick Mount’s ENG140Y: Literature for Our Time;
  • and Morgan Vanek, for her assistance in Professor Bob McGill’s ENG 252Y: Canadian Literature.
Congratulations to our award winners. Graduate Teaching Assistants play a major role in the quality of our courses here at the University of Toronto, and we are very proud of the contributions that all our TAs make to undergraduate instruction. The number of excellent nominees this year was large, so it was difficult deciding on only three people.

Best,

Alan Bewell
