Once again Stratford is joining with the Toronto Reference Library to host a series of four free lectures on the Shakespeare/Jonson plays coming up this season at Stratford.
The series starts next week, on Tuesday March 3, with a lecture on
Hamlet, and runs every Tuesday evening in March with the exception of Tues March 17th. The lectures are held in the Toronto Reference Library (on Yonge Street one block north of Bloor Street) in the Appel Salon.
The bar opens at 6:00 each Tuesday, the lecture starts at 7:00, and the Q and A finishes by 8:00. The lectures are free, but the librarians ask that you book tickets so they know how many chairs to set up. You can book tickets through the link at http://www.torontopubliclibrary.ca/programs-and-classes/appel-salon/.
Here’s the list of dates, times, and speakers for this year’s series. We hope to see you there!

- Tuesday March 10: Prof. Jeremy Lopez on The Alchemist
- Tuesday March 17 (no lecture)
