Dear Colleagues and Graduate Students,

Toronto City Council has approved George Elliott Clarke's appointment as the 4th Poet Laureate of Toronto. He stands in good company, the first three being Dennis Lee, Pier Giorgio Di Cicco, and Dionne Brand. This is wonderful news. Congratulations, George!
