Biography
Jasmin L.K. Smith (she/they) received her Honors BSc in English and Psychology from the University of Toronto in June of 2024. Her main areas of interests are Modern and Postmodern American Literature, with a particular interest in the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald, William Faulkner, and Truman Capote. Most recently, Jasmin's research has brought her through the works of poet Pat Parker, whose Black, Queer identity and unfortunate obscurity served as a point of intrigue in regards to publishing history, and the voices not found in literary canons.
