Information about the survey
The Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto engaged with the Division of Student Life to support the University of Toronto Quality Assurance Process (UTQAP) cyclical reviews that the Arts & Science Dean commissioned for the 2026-27 academic year. The Assessment & Analysis team in Student Life will work with Arts & Science units under review by facilitating student consultation by administering surveys.
Consultation with students is an essential aspect throughout the UTQAP review, as insights from students may address the program’s learning outcomes, its delivery and consistency, and how faculty can achieve these outcomes. The Division of Student Life aims to gather student consultation by administering surveys. The survey is hosted on Forum, which is a third-party platform vendor that provides assessment tools, technology, and training programs.
This survey is an opportunity for students to provide us with critical information about their undergraduate/graduate student experience. The Arts & Science units will receive aggregated data from survey responses to improve relevant programs and services for students.
We appreciate the support from students in sharing the survey. We encourage students and alumni from the Department of English to:
-
Share the survey with other current students in the program
-
Share the survey with alumni who graduated from the program up to 5 years ago
