The Department of English offers External Awards Clinics to support students preparing a SSHRC research proposal or OGS Plan of Study.
These 20-minute one-on-one virtual or in-person meetings with a member of the graduate administrative faculty provide tailored feedback on your draft proposal. Faculty members have extensive experience adjudicating these awards and offer valuable, specific advice to help improve your application.
Clinics are scheduled to accommodate the maximum number of students—not on a first-come, first-served basis. You must provide at least four time options with the same faculty member from the availability listed on the External Awards Research Proposal Clinic Registration Form.
