Biography :
Philip Trotter is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of English and the Book History and Print Culture Collaborative Specialization at the University of Toronto, researching the relationship between sentiment and the sublime in the first half of the eighteenth century. He has published research on the religious poetry of Christopher Smart and on Laurence Sterne and Sterneana.
