Biography :
Cameron Sparling (he/him) is a first year PhD U student, studying post-45 global literature. His BA Honours thesis, completed at the University of Calgary, used the corpse and the body to think through ontology in Clarice Lispector's late work. He is currently working on a project on belief in novels and travelogues by Emily Carr, Vladimir Nabokov, Iris Murdoch, Jamaica Kincaid, and Toni Morrison. In his spare time, he Irish dances.
