Biography
My doctoral research examines a 'poetics of smallness' in early modern literature and natural philosophy in the late sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Stemming in part from my interest in early atomism(s) and microscopy, my project seeks to excavate a longer history of writing minutiae in the period by working across different disciplines including rhetoric, science, and the history of empire.
