Cameron Sparling, a PhD student in English at the University of Toronto, has been named a 2025 Trudeau Foundation Scholar. This prestigious award recognizes academic excellence, public leadership, and a commitment to social engagement.
Cameron said of the announcement, "This award will allow me to pursue my passion for teaching and public engagement and put my research in conversation with a vibrant community of peers and mentors across Canada. This is a major stepping stone in my academic career, and I'm grateful to the Foundation for its support."
Adding to his remarkable spring, Cameron has also placed twelfth at the World Irish Dance Championships in Dublin. Congratulations, Cameron!
