Congratulations to Professor Sebastian Sobecki, who has been elected to a fellowship with the English Association. The association, which dates back to 1906, honors those who have made a distinguished contribution to the subject of English. The Fellow of the English Association category, which is by invitation only, was introduced in 2000 and has grown to include hundreds of fellows, including writers, academics, educators, librarians, journalists, publishers, and editors. This fellowship represents excellence in the teaching and learning of English and fellows have an active role in the association's mission.
